摘　　要： 英语专业本科毕业论文是英语专业教学内容的一个重要组成部分,是考察学生综合能力、评估学业成绩的一个重要方式,也是衡量本科教学水平的重要依据。然而近年来英语专业本科毕业论文的总体质量并没有随着英语教学改革的加强和指导教师经验的丰富而提升,论文中常见的主要问题依然存在,而这些问题直接或间接地反映了英语专业本科教学中存在的不足。认清这些问题将会给英语专业课教学带来重要启示。 English graduation thesis, as a crucial part of English teaching, is an important means to examine students＇ comprehensive abilities and academic performance. It is also a significant measure of the English undergraduate teaching level. In recent years, however, the overall quality of English thesis writing has not been increased much with the reinforcement of English teaching reform and the improvement of thesis tutors. Some common problems still exist which more or less reflect some drawbacks in English undergraduate teaching. Clear understanding of these issues may help to improve English undergraduate teaching.
