摘　　要： 本文追索和描述了乔伊斯在２０世纪中国的译介和研究状况。１９２２－１９７７年为第一阶段，１９７８－１９９９为第二阶段。第一阶段大抵上是一片荒芜，以９０年代在翻译上真正有大面积收获，但研究缺少有分是有独创性的成果。 This essay attempts to trace back and examine China's Joycean study and translation of his works from 1922 to 1999. The years 1922 and 1978 witness the beginning of two different stages respectively, with the first stage being a desolate land except for few foot passengers in the mid 1930s, early 1940s. The first decade in the second stage shows a tentative start, which is followed by an encouragingly forward move. And the last decade in the 20th. century has proved itself a time of substantial harvest, chiefly in translation.
