摘　　要： 《圣经》但以理书前几章的语言很有特色。作者运用人物对话重复技巧,突出重点,对话本身的深层含义揭示了人物复杂的心理世界;通过隐喻和象征的妙用将文本置于一个扑朔迷离的状态中,为读者提供了想象的空间;反讽的运用产生了戏剧性的效果,能够引起读者的解读兴趣。 This paper tries to make some comments on language characteristics through reading the text of Daniel in the Bible.The author of the book applies the repetition in the dialogue so as to emphasize the main idea.The implication of the dialogue reveals the characters’ complex psychological world.Secondly,he adopts metaphors and symbols to express the mysterious feelings of the story and leave readers an imaginative space.At last,in an ironical way he arouses readers’ interests of understanding,and,meanwhile,makes dramatic results.The writing techniques of Daniel in the Bible have deeply influenced a great many of Western writers.That is to express the implication in simple words,to show a dramatic effect with the help of the refined daily dialogue.
