摘　　要： 应用型本科高校是以本科教育为主体，以应用性人才培养为突出特征的一种新型高校。在新一轮高校重新洗牌即将来临之际，其要想继续生存和发展，不但要在发展定位上坚守培养生产、建设、管理和服务第一线应用性人才的本分，重视与地方、行业发展密切相关的应用性研究，为所在区域的经济社会发展服务，而且要以全面发展思想、终身学习思想和能力本位思想为指导，狠抓内涵建设，突出校本特色。 Applied undergraduate college and university is a new type of undergraduate higher institution characterized for applied personnel cultivation. To survive the forthcoming reshuffle of colleges and universities, a higher education institution has to stick to its core principle： to produce front-line applied personnels for production, construction, management and service; to emphasize the applied research closely related to local and industrial development; to serve the economic and social development of its local area. Furthurmore, it must be guided by the wholly developmental thought and life-long learning thought and ability-oriented thought to effect interior construction and build uv individual traits
