摘　　要： 列文的两个哥哥——尼古拉和谢尔盖在《安娜·卡列宁娜》中是两个有着特殊作用的人物。作家塑造这两个人物,把家庭的思想扩大到社会,为这部百科全书性质的作品增添了必要的内容。谢尔盖代表了当时的那些理智上向往变革而忘记了生活的实际运动和它的真正要求且缺乏行动的知识分子;尼古拉代表了俄国当时一些逐渐走向人民,但由于自身的局限始终无法走进人民中间而自甘堕落的贵族知识分子。他们是俄国社会变革时期的两种类型。 Levin’s two brothers – Nicholas and Sergey – are two characters playing a special role in Anna Karenina. Expanding the thoughts of family to the society, the author added necessary contents to this encyclopedic masterpiece. Sergey represented intellectuals of the day who rationally longed for reform but with out any action and forgot life’s actual movement and its real demand. Nicholas represented Russian aristocrat intellectuals of the time who gradually walked towards the mass. But, because of their own limitations, they failed to get into the mass and finally became a degrade aristocrat intellectual. They represented two types of intellectuals in the period of Russian social reform.
