摘　　要： 应用型本科院校在立足于应用性办学特色的基础上,应加强学生的人文素养教育,以培养学生的创新能力。基于此,构建"美学与艺术欣赏"课程教学对应用型本科院校而言,十分有必要。概括起来,它主要担当三个方面的课程功能:一是有利于开发学生的智力潜能,突出个性发展,促进学生创新能力的培养;二是有利于培养学生的审美素质,完善个体的心理健康,提高学生的生活品格;三是有利于培养学生审美的人生态度,提升人生境界。 The application - oriented universities should strengthen the humanistic quality of students to cultivate their in novative ability besides based upon the application - oriented characteristics of running a school. Based on this,it is necessary to establish Aesthetics and Art Appreciation curriculum system in the application - oriented universities. The curriculum can assume three functions ;one is to develop the potential of students to train their creative ability, the other is to cultivate the students＇ appreciation ability to improve their mental health, the last is to train the students＇ attitude to life to enhance.
