蛭石/PA46复合成核剂对PA66性能的影响

摘  要: 通过熔融共混法制备了尼龙(PA)66/蛭石/PA46复合材料,透射电镜(TEM)观察表明,蛭石以纳米尺寸均匀分散于PA66基体中。用差示扫描量热(DSC)分析仪和正交偏光显微镜(PLM)研究了复合材料的结晶行为和结晶形态,结果表明,蛭石/PA46是PA66有效的复合成核剂,其可使PA66的结晶温度升高约20℃,非等温结晶峰半高宽和过冷度均为原来的50%左右,半结晶时间缩短,结晶速率大幅提高,并使PA66的球晶尺寸明显细化和均匀。力学性能测试表明,PA66/蛭石/PA46复合材料的强度和韧性均得到改善。蛭石/PA46的加入缩短了PA66的注射成型周期,复合材料的注射成型速率比纯PA66提高了30%。流变行为研究表明,蛭石/PA46使PA66在高剪切速率下的黏度下降较快,非牛顿指数降低,黏流活化能降低,使PA66对温度的敏感性降低。 Nylon 66 nanocomposites containing vermiculite and nylon46 were prepared using wet melt blending method. Transmission electron microscope ( TEM ) image of composites exhibited that vermiculites were exfoliated to approximate 100 nm in length, less than 10 nm in width, dispersed uniformly in nylon66 matrix. The results of differential scanning calorimetry ( DSC ) and polarizing microscope ( PLM ) measurements showed that vermiculite / nylon 46 was effective nucleating agent. The crystallization peak of the composite shifted 20 ~C to higher temperature with the addition of vermiculite / nylon 46, both full width at half maximum and super-cooling degree reduced by 50%, the half crystallization time reduced, the crystallization rate increased largely. The photos of PLM showed that the nucleation of vermiculite/nylon 46 made the spherulite size thinning and uniform. The strength and toughness of composite were enhanced in comparison with the pure nylon66. The injection molding experiment and mechanical properties measurements indicated that the molding time of the composite shortened significantly, the molding speed was 130% of that of pure nylon 66. The melting viscosity of the composite at high speed of shear lowered rapidly more than that pure nylon66.The non-Newtonian index decreased with addition of vermiculite / nylon 46, and the apparent viscous activation energy reduced, which characterized that the influence of temperature on apparent viscosity was weaker.
