摘　　要： 庞德英译的《长干行》一再被选入《诺顿美国文学集》等各种美国权威文学读本,本文从"用形"、"词语的表现性"、"富于孕育性的顷刻"、"大语境性"以及"无笔墨处的表现力"五个方面探析了庞德英译《长干行》的艺术特色,一方面揭示了庞德译作之美与技巧的基本内涵与理据,另一方面彰显了从多维艺术综合的视角进行诗歌翻译研究的价值与意义。 Ezra Pound's English translation of Chang Gan Xing(长干行),otherwise known as The River-Merchant's Wife:A Letter,has been anthologized in a number of influential collections like Norton Anthology of American Literature.It has been extensively studied in different angles,but little attention has been paid to how different artistic dimensions are fused to achieve its aesthetic values.The present paper describes the art of translation in this poem from five perspectives including the recreation of images,the representation of diction,the 'pregnant' moment,macro-contextuality and the expressiveness of empty space between stanzas and enjambment.By doing so,this paper offers a practicable model of analysing the art of literary translation.
