摘 要: 衔接是语篇的显著特征之一,它以词汇和语法等形式,将语篇中的句子连接起来。通过对学生习作中所运用的各类衔接手段进行统计、归类,发现学生尽管没有系统的语篇衔接知识,但能够运用一些简单的衔接手段。研究还发现由于词汇量偏少,词汇结构单一,学生普遍避难就易,倾向于使用简单的、中学阶段所学的旧知识。因此要有意识地将语篇衔接知识和各种语篇衔接机制教与学生,特别要强调词汇的复现关系和同现关系在语篇衔接过程中所起的作用。 Cohesion is one of the important characteristics of text. It can combine the sentences lexically and grammatically. On the basis of the analysis of the students' English compositions, it is found that though the students haven't got much knowledge of cohesion they are capable of using simple devices of cohesion to some extent. But with their vocabulary not large enough, they tend to use simple words instead of complex ones. So it is vitally important that the students should be taught knowledge of cohesion and all kinds of devices of cohesion, particularly the reiteration and collocation of the lexieal device.
