摘 要: 通过观察传播研究中无法解释的异例,我们开始意识到传播的二重性。传播不仅具有其社会取向的层面,也有其文化向度。于是在传播研究层面它们分别构成了两个重要相面:社会取向的传播研究和文化取向的传播研究。其实,无论是哥伦比亚学派、法兰克福学派、法国文化社会学还是英美文化研究,都围绕这一对取向进行了生动的理论演绎。然而,突出二者差异的思想始终未占上风。如果我们从二者差异的视角入手可以发现,它对效果研究、受众研究等传播研究领域均有着重要的启发。随着社会化媒体的兴起和日常生活的可视化、显在化,当代传播研究在机遇和挑战中面临着以往涉足不深的日常生活,面临着非因果关系的复杂的文化向面。 By observing unexplainable anomalies in communication research,we realize the duality of communication;the aspect of social orientation as well as its cultural dimensions.As a consequence,they constitute two significant aspects in communication research,both on the social and on the cultural orientation.In fact,the Columbia School,the Frankfurt School,the French cultural sociology,and British and American cultural studies,have made vivid theoretical deduction based on those two aspects.However,emphasizing the difference between them has never prevailed from beginning to end.The introduction of the variation would inspire us for further studies in the fields of effect analysis and audience research. Along with the rise of social media and visualization of daily life,contemporary communication studies face the opportunity and challenge of addressing issues in the context of everyday life,which was not a major concern in the past.Also,researchers today confront an environment with complicated cultural dimensions of non-causality.
