摘 要: 自我重复是二语学习者为了解决言语交际问题而普遍采用的一种交际策略。本文采用国际英语学习者口语语料库的中国子库和英语本族语者口语语料库,探讨中国英语学习者和本族语者在自我重复的形式(一词与多词)和功能(填充与自我修补)上的异同,同时重点分析重复起始词的使用异同。结果显示:在形式和功能层次上,学习者比本族语者均使用更多自我重复;学习者和本族语者均大量使用主格人称代词为重复起始词;学习者使用较多的动词为重复起始词。最后,文章依据认知心理学注意力理论的信息加工模式并结合重复与句子成分凸显关系的分析视角对研究发现进行了讨论。 Second language learners resort to communication strategies while they are in difficulty.Repetition is a common communication strategy,which entails the repetition of syntactic and /or lexical items.In terms of the data collected from the Chinese component of the LINDSEI corpus and its native speaker counterpart (LOCNEC),this study examines the similarities and differences between Chinese English learners and native speakers in the use of repetition in terms of forms and functions.The data have been analyzed with a specific focus on the destination of repetition.Results show that Chinese learners use more repetitions at the two aforementioned levels than native speakers.Most destinations of repetitions among the two corpora are found to be subject pronouns.One striking finding is that Chinese learners utilize more verbs as the destinations of repetitions than native speakers.
