摘　　要： 该文是对即将更新和改造的广州市荔湾区西来初地·华林寺·锦纶会馆历史文化街区进行调查和研究工作的阶段性总结。并在对该地段进行实地考察和研究的基础上，对其宗教、文化、历史、社会背景以及现状进行了详尽的描述。提出了“合理的和小范围”的更新与改造原则。为该历史文化街区的文化规划及城市设计制定了可行的更新及改造措施。 ?The history and culture zonewith the original place from west (Xi laichu di)·Hualin-temple·Jinlun assembly-halin in GuangZhou will be renewal and alternated. By the seeing and researching to thisblock describe religion, culture, history, soci-efy background of this zone and its actuality.And appraise the purchase on religion and cul-ture of this zone. Baed on the prachcalify andthe foregrounds this paperlodge the principleof 'reasonoble and little range' about the re-newal and alteration. Rely on the concepts ofthe sustainable and the culture intensivionzone, combining the proposing cultureintensivismzone and the urban designing worksfarm the steps about renewal and alteration forthe zone.
