摘 要: 工科教育改革的目的是培养出更多懂外语、精专业的一线工程师。顺应这一背景,发展多模态外语教学模式是达成这一目标的重要环节。该方法融合了多种交流方式,如声音、文字、图像等,不仅要求教师采用多模态"教",而且强调学生利用多模态"学",以及多模态地互动评估。基于自身的实证研究,本文提出了SIMPLE多模态教学法。该方法增强了学生对知识的内化,获得了语言技能;同时也培养了学生的创新精神、实践能力和团队意识。 The purpose of engineering education reform is to cultivate more outstanding engineers with professional knowledge, language skills, and management ability. During the teaching process, the application of multimode teaching in college English teaching is an innovation in the traditional teaching mode, for it integrates various multimodalities, such as voices, texts, images, etc. It not only requires teachers' multimodal "teaching", but also requires students' multimodal "learning", and teachers' and students' multimodal assessments as well. Based on teaching experience, a specific implementation plan was put forward, that is, SIMPLE multimode teaching. Through the multimodality conversion, students are able to enhance their internalization of knowledge and acquire language skills. Meanwhile they are able to promote their innovative spirit, autonomous learning ability and team spirit, and so on.
