摘 要: 讨论小波包变换中函数基搜索算法及在数据压缩中的应用,提出了在非加性代价函数情况下一种新的次最优函数基搜索算法,通过在数据压缩方面的具体应用例子将该算法与其他算法作比较,说明该算法在一般情况下将得到更好更优的压缩结果,从而表明该算法具有更大的实用价值。 Wavelet packet transform was first proposed by Coifman and. Wicherhauser. Wavelet packet transform has a wide range of applications in various areas as a general case of wavelet transform. This paper discusses the basis selection algorithms and their applications in data compression. The paper proposes a novel near-optimal basis selection algorithm with non-additive information cost functions. It compares with other basis selection algorithms and shows that the new algorithm will give a better result in data compression. The experimental results prove the new algorithm has great value in practical applications.
