摘　　要： 基础图案课程作为设计专业的重要基础课,应该着重培养学生的认知能力和思维能力。文章根据笔者多年基础图案课的教学经验,提出在图案课程学习中加强传统图案学习,注重发现形式美,并结合自身专业特点,提高专业设计水平,从而为后续专业课的学习打下良好的基础。 As one of the important basic courses for the major of design, the course of Basic Design is sup- posed to train the students＇cognitive ability and thinking ability. The author mainly elaborates the experiences gathered from several years＇teaching of Basic Design. Some ideas are put forward, which enables the students to strengthen the study of Basic Design and attach more importance to formal beauty. Thus the students can improve their design ability according to the characteristics of their own major, which lays a good foundation for the subsequent learning of major courses.
