摘　　要： 基于前人的研究成果和名词化结构的界定和特征,以顺应论为视角就名词化结构的词汇层面和句法层面的翻译问题进行了探讨。科技文体属一种非常正式庄重的文体。名词化结构不仅使科技英语表达精练、准确,而且使得整个语篇具有严肃性和权威性。只要翻译时注意其行文特点和写作规律,译语顺应了读者对象、原文具体的交际场合,达到了翻译的目的 ,译文就可达到可接受的程度。 Based on previous studies and theoretical tramework and teatures ot nonunahzatlon,how to translate the nominalization lexically and syntactically from the perspectives of Adaptation Theory is illustrated. EST belongs to a very formal and solemn style. Nominalization not only makes EST concise and correct but also makes the whole text serious and authoritative. As long as the text features and writing rules are paid much attention to, and target language adapted to the readers and communicative occasions of the original text, the translation goals are attained and the translation can be at the level of acceptability.
