摘　　要： Ingwersen和Jarvelin基于整体主义认知观,提出在情境中集成信息查寻和信息检索(IS&R)的研究框架,为信息检索研究提供了包容性很强"大理论"框架。IS&R研究框架由于通盘考虑的因素众多,特别是情境观中包含许多不可控的研究变量,以至于运用现有的研究方法(观察法和实验法)难以进行实证研究,令该研究框架可操作性差,与应用研究之间存在鸿沟。对信息对象情境的范围进行科学界定,从具体领域、基础逻辑和实证研究入手,不仅有利于IS&R研究框架的实践研究,也有利于信息检索大理论的建立。 Based on the holism cognitive approach, Ingwersen and Jarvelin proposed a research framework for integrating information seeking and information retrieval in context （IS＆R）, which opened up a new research field in information science. Since there are a lot of factors to consider in applying the concerned framwork, specially too many the uncontrolled factors about the context, it is difficult to conduct empirical research by the existing research methods （experimental and observation）, which lead to the poor operability of IS＆R research framework, resulting in the gap between the theoretical and practical research. However, through limiting the scope of the context of the information object, researcher can easily carry out the practical research. Similarly, researchers should focus on specific areas, low-logic research and empirical research instead of creating a Grand Theory for Information Science.
