摘　　要： 文章从高职院校学生的特点、用人单位的需求及大学公共英语课堂的客观教学状况三方面进行分析,指出加强英语口语教学的重要性,并介绍了设计口语活动的方法和技巧。 Analyzing from three perspectives, i.e. features of higher vocational college students, employers＇ requirements as well as the conditions of English classes for non - English major students, this article places an emphasis on the significance of oral English courses, and introduces some useful teaching approaches, such as activities with a combination of interpreting practice and language points in the textbook; group discussion topic with tips, etc.
