摘　　要： 英语作为一门交际工具,在国内外交际舞台上的作用日显突出,社会对英语的实际应用能力的要求也越来越高。但是,在我国高职高专全面推行"2+1"教学模式的大背景下,压缩学生在校通过课堂学习、消化英语知识的时间,提前通过英语等级考试的期限在所难免。文中以建设"Podcast口袋英语"网络课程为契机,探讨如何在"实用英语"以证代考的基础上提高学生的英语应用能力。 English is a very important tool for communication in the world. For higher vocational education, how to train their students with the ability to use English properly and efficiently in their working environment becomes the major task of their teachers. However, under ＂2＋ 1＂ education model, it would be a dilemma for vocational college students to get an English certificate and learn something useful for their future jobs. This paper aims at developing an on-line course based on ＂podcast＂ communication technology, attempts to help students get the certificate and improve their language ability.
