摘　　要： 钱谦益、吴梅村、龚鼎孳并称"江左三大家",是明清之际声望最高的三位文坛宗师,同时也是最著名的贰臣。历来对这三人的心理和行径都有不少议论,主要集中于忏悔态度的真实性问题。文章从考察当时的历史记载入手,参考三人的诗文,对他们在明亡之际的行为及入清后的心态作了分析,提出一些不同于流行看法的假说。 Qian Qianyi, Wu Meicun and Gong Dingzi, collectively called ＂three masters ot the soutn oI the Yangtze River＂, were three most prestigious literary masters in the Ming and Qing Dynasties as well as most famous turncoat officials. In history, there have been a lot of discussions about their state of mind and behaviors which are mostly focused on the authenticity of their confession. Through investigating his- torical records of the time and referring to their poetic and prose works, this paper makes a study of their state of mind during the transition period and their actions after Qing Dynasty reigned over, and puts for- ward some hypothesis different from popular views.
