摘　　要： 黄遵宪晚年坚决主张以民族战争维护国家主权和领土完整,体现了他的"尚武"思想。他深入反思了清政府的对外战争以及国防建设,强调要打有准备的民族战争。他还认为,良好的外交工作将有助于民族战争的胜利。黄遵宪的"尚武"思想是近代世界民族国家弱肉强食背景下的无奈选择,他更崇尚睦邻友好与国家间的和平共处。 Huang Zunxian researched the Sino - Japanese War of 1894 - 1895, and Chinese military affairs. He pro- posed some original opinions about the war, which reflected he was a warrior. He also regarded that, diplomacy is the important means to safeguard state sovereignty. Moreover, he researched the relationship between diplomacy and na- tional war： it was because of ignorance of diplomacy that Korea conflicted with China in the Sino - Japanese War of 1894 -1895, that Chinese looked down on Japanese and then lost the whole war. If neglecting diplomacy, China couldnt win the national -war.
