摘　　要： 元分析是整合定量研究的一种文献综述方法,但也包含了创新成分。近年来元分析在国际二语研究中逐渐兴起,但国内对此方法尚不熟悉。因此,本文简要介绍元分析的定义、目的、特点,详细说明其应用步骤,然后评述主要的二语元分析研究,并推荐了今后可以运用该方法的其他领域。 As a systematic but creative synthesizing method,meta-analysis makes quantitative investigations of first-hand studies in a certain domain to draw a conclusion.This new synthesizing method has been adopted in some papers of the key international journals on second language studies,but not yet in China.Therefore,this paper first introduces meta-analysis including its definition,objectives,and characteristics,followed by a detailed explanation of its steps.Major publications of meta-analyses in the L2 field are then reviewed,and possible domains for further research recommented.
