摘　　要： 本文论述由于当代人类面临的极其严峻的安全威胁和安全教育的缺失,导致人们,尤其是大学生安全意识薄弱、知识缺乏、安全防护能力不足,使许多本可避免的生命和财产损失被极端扩大。同时,由于全球化趋势加快发展,中国大学生越来越多地走向世界,所面临的安全威胁已经越出国界,非传统安全威胁也在加大。由此认为:对大学生开展深入、系统、有效的安全教育,增强大学生安全意识,提高安全防范能力,十分紧迫和必要。文章认为高校安全课程具有实践性特点,教材的编写在内容的选择上,要坚持以人为本、突出重点、联系实际、生动活泼的原则,从大学生安全意识、能力培养的实际需要出发,以激发学习兴趣,产生实际效果。同时,对于教学方法也作了探讨。 This paper discusses the losses of life and property which are practically inevitable due to a lack of safety awareness, knowledge and protection, because humans are facing severe threats to safety and a deficiency of education. Meanwhile new threats emerge and escalate beyond borders as more and more Chinese students go abroad in a global trend. In coping with the situation, systematic education to enhance safety awareness and improve protection skills for university students has been more urgent and necessary than before. Starting with safety awareness, behavioral skills, learning interests and practical effects, the paper brings forward principles of compiling the textbook contents putting the student foremost, with key points emphasized, then reality and liveliness, and discusses the teaching methods as well.
