摘　　要： 近代西医在中国的传播,长期为欧美医学传教士主导。1915年中华医学会的创立,是中国人自主传播、发展西医的标志。本文旨在分析、探讨中华医学会产生的社会时空背景条件,作者认为,中国社会对西医的接纳与认同、本土西医人才群体的崛起、西医权威人物的出现以及中国博医会的中介与示范作用,共同促成了中华医学会的产生。 For a long time, the dissemination of modern Western medicine in China was done mainly by the European andAmerican medicine missionary. Chinese Medical Association’s establishment in 1915 was the sign that the Chinese spread anddeveloped Western medicine independently. This paper is to analyze and discuss the social condition under which the ChineseMedical Association was established. The author thinks that society’s acceptance and identification with Western medicine, the riseof native talented groups of Western medicine, the appearance of authoritative figures of Western medicine as well as theintermediary and exemplary role of Medical Missionary Society of China all this together has facilitated the Chinese MedicalAssociation's appearance.
