摘　　要： "985工程"是我国政府为建设若干所世界一流大学和一批国际知名的高水平研究型大学而实施的教育规划。本文在阐述"985工程"出台背景及建设目标的基础上,以J大学为例,分析该校在"985工程"资金投入下,其学科建设、师资力量、科学研究、人才培养、国际交流等方面取得的显著成绩,并进一步从制度上探讨其取得成绩的动因。 ＂The 985 Project＂ is aimed to construct several world - class universities and a number of international famous high level research universities. Through the analysis of the back- ground and target of the construction of ＂The 985 Project＂, paper elaborates the significant achievements, thanks to th taking J University as an example, e capital investment of ＂The 985 Pro-ject＂, from the aspects of discipline construction, talent training, teachers＇ team, scientific research and international exchanges, and then further explores the major underlying causes in system for the achievement.
