The thermophysical properties of piezoelectric ceramic are of much practical and theoretical interest. Many of the physical properties of these materials have been widely studied. However, their thermal diffusities and conductivities at high temperature, which are very important in many applications, have scarcely been measured. In this paper, the measurement of thermal diffusivity and conductivity of Pb(Sb 1/2Nb1/2)O3-PbZrO3-PbTiO3 by using the laser flash method is described, and the effect of the temperature, phase transition and polarization treatment on the thermophysical properties is studied. By' the experimental results, it can be seen from the curves that there are sudden changes in the thermophysical properties due to phase transitions, and its thermal diffusivity and conductivity decrease with the increase of polarization voltage. The phase transition temperatures (Cuire points)determined from the discontinuity on the thermophysical properties curves have been found to be in good agreement with the values measured by the electric method.
