摘　　要： 在英语口语中，某些词、词组和句子存在歧义。本文对消除歧义的语音手段：重音、音渡、停顿和语调。 In spoken English, there exist ambiguities in certain words, phrases and sentences. This paper expounds and illustrates with examples the phonological devices such as stress, juncture, pause and intonation employed to eliminate the ambiguities.
