摘　　要： 本文针对民办高校在与公立高校竞争过程中,如何发挥自身优势、强化学科基本建设的问题进行了研究和分析,并结合广东培正学院的教改实践,从学科专业设置,课程、教材、师资队伍建设等方面,提出了确保自身办学特色、促进民办高校健康发展的对策与措施。 This article does research and analysis on how to make full use of the comparative advantages of private higher education institutions to reinforce basic discipline construction during the current context of competing with their counterpart-public higher education institutions. Drawing from the teaching reform experience in Guangdong Peizheng College, this article proposes countermeasures for maintaining unique characteristics and promoting healthy development of private higher education institutions from the perspectives such as discipline and major establishing, curriculum development, teaching material compiling and selecting, and faculty development.
