摘　　要： 采用文献资料法、访谈法、逻辑分析等方法,探讨了湛江"社会主义新农村"建设背景下湛江民族传统体育发展现状和民族传统体育发展与新农村建设的相互关系;提出了以新农村建设为契机进一步发展湛江地区民族传统体育的主要对策.旨在加快民族传统体育在湛江新农村建设过程中的进一步发展. Based on documentation,logical analysis,and interviews,the paper studies the current situation of traditional and ethnic sports in Zhanjiang and the relationship between traditional sports and the construction of new countryside,and makes suggestions concerning the development of traditional sports to promote traditional and ethnic sports in the area.
