摘 要: 图绘功臣是古代君王表彰有功之臣的一种方式,君王希望借此酬报有功之士,激励贤能之臣,展示人才之盛、国势之强,功臣画像这一现象蕴含着丰富的涵义。西汉麒麟阁功臣画像是一次以匈奴归降为契机表彰西汉中兴辅佐之臣的艺术活动。作为历史上君王首次正式图绘功臣,此次绘像对后代功臣画像提供了一种范式:被画像功臣绝大多数官职较高;功臣身份各异,其勋绩亦呈现出多样化特点;被绘像功臣既有已逝者,也有尚存者,充分体现了图绘功臣这种酬庸方式的包容性和优越性。 Making portrait for the meritorious ministers is a way to praise and reward them by ancient Chinese emperors. It can also inspire the others. The majority of those portraits are for high-ranking officials who took different jobs and their great achievements were of diversified characteristics in their realms. The portraits are for those were dead as well as who were alive. It fully embodies both inclusiveness and superiority.
