摘　　要： 国际化发展战略是开放大学应对经济全球化与教育国际化的必然选择。国内开放大学尚未形成完备的发展模式,而英国开放大学国际化水平较高,其办学理念、学生结构、课程设置和师资队伍建设等方面的国际化特色鲜明,并取得了较大成功,可为开放大学的建设和发展提供有益参考。 International development strategy is an inevitable choice for an open university education to address the economic globalization and the educational internationalization. Since Open University in China is in its infancy while Open University in UK is featured with its educational philosophy, students structure, curriculum and faculty development and so on.Accordingly, its practice provides a useful insight for the construction and development of Open University in China.
