摘　　要： 世界上的文字有着共同的发展规律,表形→表意→表音并不是所有文字的发展轨迹。文字具有形、音、义三方面的属性,从形与音义的单通道联结(见形知义或见形知音)到双通道联结(见形知音与义)是文字的前进进化。表音文字只是表意文字在单通道联结状态下突变的结果,两者是分支进化关系,不存在进化阶段的高低之分。认清文字发展的规律,把握汉字发展的方向,有助于做好汉字的规范工作。 Different written languages in the world share some common pattern of development,but the development route from pictograph to ideograph and then to phonograph is not the same for all the written languages. A script has three attributes:form,pronunciation and meaning. The preorganic evolution of characters is from one-way connection between form and pronunciation to two-way connection between form,pronunciation and meaning. Phonograph is the result of ideography mutation on the basis of one-way connection. These two forms are parallel in the process of evolution and no one is superior to the other. Understanding the pattern of character development and the direction of its future development will contribute to Chinese character standardization.
