摘　　要： 隐喻是个众多学科关注的热门话题。本文通过阐述隐喻的定义及其本质特征,说明隐喻不仅是一种修辞方法,而且是重要的认知方式和思维方式。介绍了学者们对隐喻的分类,并且列举了隐喻在日常、广告、影视、文学和网语中的应用,指出扩展对隐喻的研究对于创新人们的思维和拓宽人们的视野具有重要意义。 Metaphor is a hot topic that numerous disciplines concern. By presenting the definition of metaphor and its substantive char- acteristics, this thesis sets forth that metaphor is not only a rhetoric, but also an important cognitive style and a mode of thinking. It introduces the classifications on metaphor that the scholars make, with the examples of the application on everyday life, advertisements, films and televisions, literatures and Network Languages, it points out it is important to extend the study on metaphor for bringing forth the new ideas and broadening our horizon.
