摘　　要： 以"评价理论"诸范畴作为元范畴,考察西方文学批评史上一些代表性学者和实践者对文学艺术在批评和审美观念上的评价取向,认为文学性就是评价性:文学是以评价为特点、手段和目的的互动话语和组织方式,包括情感、判断、鉴赏三类态度、以及相应的介入和级差因素。其实,这些范畴早已散见于不同时期、不同流派、不同国别的美学和文论中,一直是人们进行美学评判和文艺理论建构的基石,只是先前缺乏这种高度概括和明确认识罢了,也没有评价理论的范畴那么具体,评价的侧重点也因着眼点不同而存在差别。 This attempt surveys the esthetic stance of the history of Western literary criticism according to the categories of Appraisal Theory in Systemic Functional Linguistics. The so-called ＇ literariness＇ in criticism is indeed of appraisal： literature is interactive discourse of, by, and for appraisal, which includes Attitude （Affect, Judgment, and Appreciation）, En gagement, and Graduation. These categories have been selectively adopted as the criteria for the criticism and esthetic stance in different times, schools, and countries. That is, they have been the cornerstone for esthetic criticism and model construction; the problem lies in lacking such a highly generalization and overt recognition, nor so accurately specified in system, and usually only one or two of them are taken into account.
