摘　　要： 西方有关网络社区社会属性研究的争论焦点主要有:网络社区是"胜境"还是"迷思",有利于民主的网上公共领域是否正在形成,网上社区与网下社区之间呈现为一种什么样的互动关系;尽管西方学者在这些问题上尚未达成共识和形成定论,但大体业已形成清晰的学术脉络,反观我国网络社区研究,适当借鉴西方网络社区研究方面的研究主题与路径显得尤为必要。 The debate on social attributes of virtual community in the Western studies focuses on the following questions. Is virtual community a wonderland or a myth？ Is an E-public sphere conducive to democracy coming into being？ What interactive relation is formed between online and offline community？ Though no conclusions have been reached among western scholars, they have achieved a clear train of thoughts. Considering current situation of Chinese studies on virtual community, it is necessary for us to take as references the research topics and methods of Western studies.
