摘　　要： 茂名拥有丰富的旅游文化资源,旅游英语教学首先要立足服务于本地旅游发展。从探究茂名旅游文化底蕴和旅游资源特色为切入点,结合教学实际,探讨了旅游英语教学的重点及教学模式,旨在为发展茂名旅游文化提供有价值的参考。 Maoming is rich in tourism and cultural resources.Tourism English teaching should serve the local tourism development.Combining with teaching practices,this article highlights the tourism culture background of Maoming and gives a research to the key points and teaching methods of tourism English in the hope of improvement of teaching quality of tourism English course.
