摘　　要： 虽然吴趼人认为小报生涯妨碍了他的进步,但是实际上办小报对他后来的小说创作有非常重要的作用。吴趼人的小报生涯为他的小说创作提供了丰富的生活素材、深刻的思想内容和娴熟的写作技巧,并使他及时了解时代动向,顺风而动,投入"小说界革命"的潮流。在晚清众多的报人兼小说家中,吴趼人极富于代表性。 Although Wu Jian-ren thought that the career of handling small-sized newspapers had hindered his progress,in fact it had some important effect on his novel creation afterwards.And it had provided rich life material,deep thought content and adept art of writing to Wu Jian-ren＇s novel creation.It made him know the times trend,follow wind in time to move,and throw into the ＂revolutionary about novel boundary＂.Wu Jian-ren was the representative in lots of the novelists and journalists in the late Qing Dynasty.
