摘　　要： 城市化是世界性的社会经济发展趋势，然而关于城市化的含义，理论界至今尚无统一的说法。现有城市化的定义，基本上只注重于对城市化内容或现象的表述。本文揭示了城市化的本质含义是城市文明的形成过程。 xisting definitions of urbanization stress on the statement of the content or phenomena of urbanization. This article reveals that the nature of urbanization is the process of forming urban civilization. Through analysis of realities, it points out the significance of that nature.
