摘 要: 本文以2009年和2010年两届全国英语口译大赛的比赛设计为案例,探讨了口译能力的评估理念、评估模式和测试设计。文章认为,口译水平测试以口译能力为评估目标,评估内容应涵盖双语能力、言外知识、口斧技巧和心理素质等4个方面,测试形式宜采取模拟真实口译任务的整体式评估方式,测试效度主要体现为命题的结构效度、口译任务的真实性和测试的可操作性等要素。 Based on a case analysis of the designing of the National English Interpreting Contest in 2009 and 2010, this paper explores the concept, composition, assessment model and test design of interpreting competence. It suggests that the test of interpreting competence, as being made up of' bilingual competence, extra-linguistic competence, interpreting skills and psychological qualities, should employ a holistic approach characterized by the simulated interpreting tasks and global grading. And the test validity is represented by its construct validity, authenticity and practicality.
