鱼眼菜单可用性研究

摘  要: 为了全面把握鱼眼菜单的特性,通过可用性测试,对鱼眼菜单、级联式菜单和单列菜单进行了比较。比较结果表明,鱼眼菜单在很多方面具有一定的优势。鱼眼菜单的布局方式使得用户便于发现目标菜单项,比较适合长的菜单项的选择,在视觉效果上能激发用户的兴趣;但同时也发现了一个明显的不足,即选择目标菜单项比较困难。针对该不足,提出了对鱼眼菜单的改进方法,设计并实现了粘滞式鱼眼菜单。对粘滞式鱼眼菜单进行了可用性测试,测试结果表示,粘滞式鱼眼菜单比较容易选中目标菜单项,用户的满意度较高,从而表明了该改进的有效性。 To further study the features offisneye menus, hierarchical and single column menus are compared with fisheye menu through usability tests. The results show that fisheye menu has advantages in some aspects. Firstly, users can find the target menu item more easily with its special display mode. Secondly, it is suitable for browsing items in a long menu. Finally, many users show interests in its visual appearance, However, fisheye menu has an obvious limitation; it is difficult to select a target menu item. A new type of fisheye menu, the "stick-fisheye menu", is designed and implemented. Further usability tests for the stick-fisheye menu are conducted. The results show that the stick-fisheye menu is easier to select target menu items, and user experience is improved. Moreover, the "stick design" is proven to be effective.
