摘　　要： 作为"韦勒克文学理论奖"评委会主席,乔纳森·卡勒教授在此次发言中介绍了两届"韦勒克文学理论奖"的获奖作品,点评了近几年来在这一领域涌现出的若干优秀作品,并简要概括了文学理论在美国的发展现状和基本走向。 This is a speech Professor Jonathan Culler made at a conference held in Cornell University in March 2010.As the chair of judges for 'René Wellek Prize',Culler introduced the winners of the Prize in 2008 and 2010,gave a review of some outstanding books that recently appeared in literary theory,and briefly summarized the current situation and possible trend of this field in America.
