摘　　要： 本文旨在梳理英语语料库研究的发展,从起源动机出发,回顾了语料库研究的发展历史,重点探讨了其发展现状及未来展望。目前语料库研究在类型、应用范围、本体论和相关软件等方面发生了显著变化。未来语料库容量将会更大,类型更加多样化,语料库语言学将会与其它语言理论实现进一步融合。 This paper aims to conduct a comprehensive survey of English corpus studies. It first explores the motivations behind corpus studies and then reviews its development, which are followed by a discussion of its status quo and its future development. The present corpus studies are undergoing huge changes in terms of corpus types, the scope of application, the relevant theories and software. Future corpora will be bigger and more diversified and there will be further integration between corpus linguistics and other linguistic theories.
