摘　　要： 本文选取存在多种降调、用传统标调法难以描写的汕头谷饶方言为研究个案,对谷饶的5个降调进行声学分析,并从音高、调形凹凸、平拱时长及斜率等角度对其中的4个舒声降调进行听辨实验。研究表明,谷饶方言的降调在音高、凹直以及平拱绝对时长上存在范畴感知,在声调斜率上虽不存在范畴感知,但斜率对感知边界有影响。根据研究结果,我们认为有必要将"凹/直"及拐点前后等特征作为各种调型中都可能出现的区别性特征进行研究。 The difference between the five falling tones in the Gurao dialect is so subtle that it is difficult to describe these tones on the traditional five-level scale.In this study,the identification experiments on the four long falling tones are made in terms of pitch,location of inflexion and tone slopes.Experimental results show that the Gurao dialect has categorical perceptions on pitch,＂concave/protruding＂ of tone shape and location of inflexion.Although there is no categorical perception on tone slope,it still affects the tonemic boundary.On the basis of this evidence,it is argued that the character of ＂concave/ protruding＂ and ＂location of inflexion＂ should be regarded as the distinctive feature.
