摘　　要： 客家人遍布世界各地,他们用智慧和力量,为居住国社会的发展和繁荣做出了积极的贡献。本文以澳大利亚客家为例,主要从积极参政议政,关注民生,服务社会;充分发挥特长,为社会的发展做贡献;努力融和主客,促进文化交流三个方面阐述海外客家人在居住国社会的政治、经济和文化发展中所发挥出来的积极作用。 Residing around the world,the Hakkas have made a positive contribution to the development and prosperity of the residential countries with their wisdom and strengths.This essay takes the Hakkas in Australia as an example to illustrate the Hakkas＇ positive role in the development of politics,economy and culture of the residential country in three aspects：（i） their participation in politics,social welfare and service,（ii） their contribution to the society,and（iii） their efforts made to promote the convergence and cultural exchange of host and guest people.
