摘　　要： 本文试图用增量改革的框架解释近30年的中国新闻改革,基于广州报业的实证研究表明,增量改革呈现两种模式,一种是《广州日报》的扩版潮,另一种是《南方日报》的报业集团化。增量改革促进了过去数十年中国新闻产业的发展,然而改革带来的收益正在衰减,未来媒体空间的进一步扩展可能会受制于现有体制等多种因素。 This paper attempts to interpret Chinese media reform in the framework of incremental reform. The results based on the empirical investigation of Guangzhou newspaper shows two types of incremental reform： the expansion of pages of Guangzhou Daily, and the newspaper grouping of Nanfang Daily. However, the profit derived from incremental reform has decreased gradually, while the further development of media depends on many factors such as institutions.
