摘　　要： 城市的公共事业发展状况是显示一国城市化发展水平的重要标志。为了研究我国大陆31个地区的公共事业发展状况,首先运用因子分析的方法从搜集到的24个指标中提取了5个公共因子,然后将得到的因子得分运用聚类分析。得到的结果是31个地区聚为六类,其中北京、广东、西藏单独聚为一类。得出结论:一个地区的公共事业状况与当地的经济发展水平和地理环境因素是息息相关的,并相应提出对策。 A city＇s public utility was an important sign to show the development of a country＇s urbanization.In order to study the development of all regions＇ public utilities,the paper firstly extracted five common factors from the 24 indicators using factor analysis,and then handled factor scores applying cluster analysis.It reached a conclusion that all regions were clustered into six categories,taking Beijing,Guangdong,Tibet separately.The results showed that a regions＇s public utilities connected closely with its economic development level and geographical factors.At last,the paper proposed the reasonable solutions.
