摘　　要： 李提摩太等西方传教士通过译书、办报等为手段，以西学知识为依托，宣传其基督教思想，这种宗教思想通过康有为而对梁启超产生了间接影响，创办与广学会机关报同名的《万国公报》，并提倡在中国创立“孔教”，成为与西方基督教等量齐观的宗教。1896年以后，梁启超通过与严复、马相伯等人的交往，学习了真正的西学知识，深悟自己以前从康有为处学得的西学知识的肤浅，产生了怀疑与批判，并反对“孔教”。 Under the background of Western knowledge, Timothy and other priests in West disseminated Christian thought by translating books, running newspapers, etc. And the thought influenced Kang Youwei directly, which, later, passed on to Liang Qichao. Kang and Liang foundered a kind of newspaper named ＂Wan Guo General Newspaper＂. They advocated establishing ＂Confucian Religion＂ in China, which equated to Christian in West. After 1896, Liang made friends with Yan Fu, Ma Xiangbo and studied the true westem knowledge. He then realized his superficial comprehension of that leaming from Kang before. So he began questioning and criticizing them and opposed ＂Confucian Religion＂.
