摘　　要： 当前,我国公民新闻初见端倪。它的兴起并非仅仅是新传播技术革命的伴生物,更是当代中国社会公民意识觉醒热潮中的一个环节。文章认为公民意识的觉醒是推动公民新闻发展的内在动因,而公民新闻则成为彰显了公民意识的重要平台。 At present,citizen journalism is abundantly clear in China.Its arise is not just the companion of new communication technologies revolution,but also a link of upsurge that civic awareness is awaking in contemporary Chinese society.The awakening of civic consciousness is the intrinsic motivation for the development of citizen journalism and citizen journalism has become an important platform to highlight civic awareness.
