摘　　要： 学习者能不能写出地道的商务英语信函关键在于是否掌握了这门语言的特征。对商务英语信函进行词块性分析,可发现商务英语信函的语言有很高的语块占有率,充分说明了商务英语信函语言具有语块性特征。把语块应用在商务英语信函写作教学中具有一定的指导意义。 Whether a learner can write an idiomatic English business letter depends on whether he can master the characteristics of business language or not. Based on the theory of lexical chunks, this paper analyses the chunking of the business letters and finds that the proportion of chunks is very high. All of the study fully proves that chunks are the characteristics of the language of business letter writing. At the same time, it is significant to probe into the possibility of teaching business letter writing from the dimension of chunks.
