摘　　要： 作为“世界制造业基地”的东莞创造了自身经济的辉煌，成为中国最成功的经济模式之一，东莞模式是由东莞提供土地和厂房，利用中国的廉价劳动力，由外商提供资金、设备、技术和管理，以加工贸易为突破口，以国际市场为依托的典型的外向型经济模式。任何区域经济的长远发展，技术创新是必不可少，但它需要相应的人才队伍作为支撑。作为服务于区域经济的职业教育应当承担起相应的人才培养与输送的责任。由此，研究东莞职业教育发展的基本战略对于促进东莞经济的发展具有重要的现实意义。 As the ＂World Manufacturing Base＂ ,DongGuan creates its own economic successes, as China＇s most successful economic mode of dongguan mode, dongguan provide land by using Chinese and foreign cheap Labour, by providing funds, equipment, technology and management, processing trade as the breakthrough in the international market, relying on the typical export-oriented economic mode. Any of the long-term development of regional economy, technology innovation is indispensable, but it needs corresponding talent team for support. As a professional services in the areas of economy, education should assume corresponding responsibility of talent training and transportation. Thus, the development of vocational education research following basic strategy for promoting the development of DongGuan economy has important realistic significance.
